Organic honey

Helps the inmune system

Propolis is found in nature in the form of primarily natural resins in conifers. These resins are collected by the honey bees and carried to the hive where they are used due to their natural antiseptic properties to help maintain the good health inside the hive.

Toca ́s organic honey and organic propolis from our hives are a great combination to keep our body healthy due to of its anti-fungal anti-inflammatory and antiviral properties. A spoonful of honey with propolis every day will keep common colds at bay.

What is Propolis?

Propolis is the resin collected exclusively by honey bees from the buds of different conifer species. It’s used in the hive due to its anti-inflammatory, antifungal and antiviral properties that help to preserve the good health for the community.

  • Propolis comes from resin

  • ``Albarizas``

This is an ancient construction, more than 200 years old. It was used to keep the hives protected from the bear.

  • propolis-harvesting

This is a plastic grid with small holes. It is used in place of an inner cover, just below the telescoping cover. The bees need to close those holes (too small for bee passage) so they fill them in with the resin we call propolis.
